Special Provision 4

The net explosives quantity for these dangerous goods is calculated as 50 % of the gross mass expressed in kilograms when the true net explosives quantity cannot reasonably be determined.

Special Provision 76

Despite section 5.7, any combination of these dangerous goods included in Class 1 may be offered for transport, handled or transported in a road vehicle if

  1. the total quantity of all the dangerous goods included in Class 1, expressed in net explosives quantity, is less than or equal to 5 kg;

  2. the total number of articles of dangerous goods subject to special provision 86 is less than or equal to 100 articles; and

  3. the operator of the road vehicle has a valid Pyrotechnic Card that has been issued to the operator by the Explosives Regulatory Division of Natural Resources Canada.
